I thought the coaching staff needs to look at the tape on how we use Kendrick perkins, i thought that played a large role in getting off to slow starts. Run him out of high post screens and have him crash the boards but not recieve the ball. He is great for playing against the west with his Bruiser mentality; but i think if we play the Heat next year we should:
    1) Defend Lebron with sef, no matter how many fouls he gets, and switch to Durant on Lebron with 4 minutes left.
    2) Play the starters more in the finals, its the finals
    3) The heat have hardens #, they pracice against lebron who plays similarly wih slower dribble penetration drives.
    4) Play Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka, Harden and Nick (when the pace is fast)

So looking at what we need to do next year i think that the thunder need to develop Ibaka and Durant in the post more, and get a threat to score down low, and Wesbrook needs to dribble drive and make a layup 25,000 times this summer, wih ibaka trying to defend him!

I do find it interesting that NBADraft.net has us taking Doron Lamb which makes less than zero sense. What do we need with another SG when there's a chance several serviceable back-up SFs should still be on the board?
Well, we don't have many shooters, so i could see Lamb as a possibility if he's there.

    Knock-down shooter.

And doesn't Thabo play the 3 when KD goes to the bench.

Yes, right now Thabo is probably the back-up SF, but a lot of times we'd also have a Fisher-Westbrook-Harden lineup with Durant on the bench. Lamb may not be as bad of a pick as I made it sound but I think any of those guys I listed (Green, Taylor, Barton, and Miller) would be a better choice. I see Lamb as a Daequan replica, three-point shooter without much else to offer, but if he could be more than consistent from three than Cook, I'd welcome it.

On the topic of Jeff Green, I'm not sure he's "the guy" (although I'd welcome him back with open arms) but I do think we're in need of another scorer to bring off the bench. You know, someone that doesn't make you raise an eyebrow when you check the box score the next day and see that he scored 15-20 points. We need someone else we can bring off the bench that can score 15 or 20 points and people don't continually ask "where'd that come from?" Doesn't need to be someone that even averages 8-10 points a game, but someone that can chip in with the occasional 15+ point game when Harden is having an off night.

Well guess what. You DID win a shirt. Your name was the one I drew at random, because no one guessed Perry Jones. Congratulations!
