OKC can definitely play defense like that. Thats why the bulls always have such a good record. The shots might not fall every night, but defense can/will always be consistent, just depends on the heart/effort. Sefolosha set the tone for the series, thats a good guy.

Yes, and a lot of the Spurs turnovers were forced turnovers unlike for the Thunder in the regular season when they were usually careless passes.

Welcome to the new NBA. Four quarters of dance competition (Thunder Girls vs. the Laker Girls!) interrupted by brief displays of basketball.

Finish this sentence, 'I never leave home without _________'. 'Mascara, Cell phone and Pepper Spray' says Thunder Girl Hayley.

They're showing game two right now on NBA TV (it's almost over and I just found it) but a couple of things.

Westrook hit a three to make it 103-96 with a little over 4:00 to go.

We get a stop on defense, after Danny Green missed a three from the corner, but gave up an offensive rebound to Tim Duncan. That turned into a shooting foul for Ginobili. Fisher flopped, so if he had just stayed up it may have been a no call, but I thought Manu did a little acting too, and I thought the best call in that situation would've been a no-call.

On our next possession, down 105-96, Russ made a nice move, and had a layup he makes 9 times out of 10, spin halfway down and back out.

Parker came back down and made a tough pull-up mid-range jumper to put the Spurs ahead 107-98.

After Harden made a driving layup to make it 107-100 with about 3:30 to go, Manu got a very generous foul call where he drove, threw out his off-hand a little bit hitting Harden int he face, and of course got sent to the line for two shots. He missed the second one, Duncan chased down the offensive rebound in the corner, and it turned into a three-point possession for the Spurs after Manu hit a tough fallback jumper on one foot, over a couple of OKC defenders. That was pretty much the end of our comeback hopes.

Really did not like that foul call on Harden when it would've been just as easy to call an offensive foul like I've seen them do quite a bit in the playoffs this year. That, and two San Antonio offensive rebounds, just didn't allow us to get over the hump and complete the comeback. That, and the insane deep heavily contested three. by Ginobili after Fisher had hit a three to make it a 112-105 game with about 90 seconds remaining.

Oh well, just wasn't meant to be in game two, but I'm still really proud of the way our guys fought to the very end. The Spurs got some calls they probably wouldn't have gotten if they weren't at home when it looked like we might pull-off the comeback, but you can't expect to win after digging a 22 point hole in the third quarter on the road. Don't really know the point of this post, but had kind of forgotten how close we were to pulling off a really incredible comeback. If either of those shooting fouls (the one on Parker which is easier to understand as a foul since Fisher flopped), and the foul on Harden that could've very easily been an offensive foul on Manu, and there's a very good chance we could've had a possession or two in the last 90 seconds down by three or four points, instead of 7-10 points.
